Background
Moez went to Pakistan Air Force Cadet College Lower Topa, selected on merit, and spent five years there. He joined the computer club in his first year and earned house and college colours in computing.
He then took a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science at the University of Hertfordshire, graduating with First Class Honours and a High Achiever Award. His final-year project was a generic data ingestor for JSON, CSV and Parquet files.
Before he graduated, he worked remotely for Songtradr, a US music-tech company, on its move from BigQuery to Snowflake. Since then he has worked with The Working Town, NACTA and Firefly, and built three products of his own. More on the About page.
Services
- Turn your idea into a product: an app, tool or SaaS, built and live on real data.
- Automate the manual work: Excel imports, weekly reports and copy-paste jobs that run on their own.
- Connect your systems: pipelines, APIs and Apache NiFi flows between systems that don't talk.
- Move your data safely: database and warehouse moves, with automated proof nothing was lost.
- Fix your website: speed, SEO, security and accessibility, found, fixed and re-checked.
Work history
- Firefly · Data Engineer · 2026 — now. Turning years of Pakistani court judgments into clean, structured data a legal product can run on.
- NACTA · Data Engineer · Jan 2026 — now · Pakistan. Automated a manual 6–8 hour Excel ingestion job and built an Apache NiFi layer that lets internal systems exchange data.
- The Working Town · Data Engineer · Mar — Aug 2025. Turned spreadsheets and forms into tools a team runs on, with reports that update themselves.
- Songtradr · Data Engineer · May — Oct 2024 · Remote, USA. A BigQuery → Snowflake migration, with an automated validation system that proved the data survived it.
Own products
- SiteScore: paste any website and get an honest, graded report of what's holding it back, in about 30 seconds, free. Live at sitescore.moezkayy.com.
- WarEra Buddy: a live advisor and trading terminal for the strategy game WarEra that reads a player's situation and says what to do today. Live at warerabuddy.moezkayy.com.
- War Era Party Management Tool: a command centre for a WarEra political party, with a daily list of which members have a problem and the fix to send them. Live, members only.
How Moez works
Moving data is easy. Trusting it is the work.
Shipped, not slides. An idea only counts once it's live: a real URL, real users, running without him watching it.
Numbers checked against reality. WarEra Buddy's formulas are tested against the game, and at Songtradr he built the checks that proved the migration was right.
Built for the people who run it. Clear reports, a list of what needs a human, and alerts when something breaks.
Small steps on real data. He comes back with a plan, builds in small steps so clients see it working early, and ships it tested, documented and with alerts.
Ideal clients
- Founders and small businesses with an idea for an app, tool or SaaS to build, or manual work to automate.
- Teams that need data pipelines, integrations or a migration they can trust.
- Site owners with a website that's slow, broken or missing from Google.
Common use cases
- Building an idea into a live web app on your own domain, with sign-in, dashboards, reports or daily jobs.
- Picking up Excel files automatically and loading them into the right place.
- Reports that update themselves, in Power BI, Google Sheets or a simple dashboard.
- Replacing a shared spreadsheet with forms that feed a proper database.
- ETL and ELT pipelines in Python and SQL, scheduled with Airflow or GitHub Actions.
- Apache NiFi data flows between systems, with Keycloak sign-in and an audit trail.
- API integrations and queues (FastAPI, RabbitMQ) that stay stable under heavy load.
- Database or warehouse migrations with automated SQL checks and a progress dashboard.
- Website fixes for speed, SEO, security headers, email records (SPF, DMARC), accessibility and mobile, checked with a SiteScore re-scan.
